Wow, I can't believe some people actually said that ANet shouldn't bother because "there's other things ANet could be working on". I think that's a pretty lame cop-out. There's always gonna be bigger stuff to do. That still doesn't change the fact that if it's not working as intended, then it is a bug, and it should be fixed. Period. Since when are things signed/notsigned unless they're of gamebreaking importance?

ANet fixed the character sorting issue on the login screen, where it also would not save the setting. We didn't even have a choice to sort them out when this game came out. Nobody needed it, and I personally don't recall anyone ever asking for it. But still, it was there, and it wasn't working as intended and therefore required fixing. That's really all there is to it.

If ANet took the time to fix that, I don't see why anyone would suggest they wouldn't, or shouldn't take the time to address this.

You're right, they can't bother to look at this, else nothing in the game will ever get done. The character sorting probably fixed itself throughout the many patches by accident, because everyone is too busy either playing the game to notice/care or working on those huge gamebreaking issues. It all makes perfect sense now.

In fact, I'm appalled at the amount of time they dedicate to assanine details. Who really was upset at not being able to wield their bonus weapons? No one, thats who! Those things are all garbage! Who is the genius wasting valuable man hours fixing that?!

I think it's up to ArenaNet to decide what to work on, as these threads are just for showing acceptance of ideas, not demanding their implementation.

i'm sick of the seemingly random appearance of my characters headgear whenever the game feels like it. i hate my rangers' masks (not out of armor type, just that they look butt ugly period) and whenever i log out i'd like to see the pretty faces i've chosen for my hawt ranger and mesmer babes, not some stinky smokey and the bandit style bandana or some phantom of the opera reject faceplate.

come on anet! it can't be more than a five minute fix!

the wierd thing about this problem is that some of the professions already save headgear setting at the select screen, and some professions don't. how hard can it be to fix the bugged professions? copy and paste code?

At least make it consistent. Some times headgear is off, some times it is on. I would prefer off, but it is just frustrating when it keeps changing.
